SERS platform and its preparation method
- Summary:
The invention is a SERS platform, composed of a hydrophilic solid support, nanowires and metallic microstructures, such that the hydrophilic surface is decorated with nanowires, covered with gold microclusters of high surface-to-volume ratio.
The invention also includes the method of fabrication of the SERS platform, comprising the following steps:- drop-casting of a mixture of nanoparticles and liquid crystal onto the water surface;
- transferring thus obtained layer onto a hydrophilic surface using the Langmuir-Blodgett method;
- growing nanowires using the Chemical Vapor Deposition method on thus fabricated surface;
- covering the obtained nanowire-decorated surface with gold microclusters of high surface-to-volume ratio by dipping it in an appropriate solution
