Offer no. 3/18

Microfluidic device for monodisperse droplets production

  • Summary:

The invention describes geometry of the microfluidic device for production of monodisperse micrometer-sized emulsions. Presented device splits a sample into a library of monodisperse droplets of one liquid in another, immiscible liquid. Device produces aqueous droplets in fluorinated oil containing surfactant, 30-100 nL in volume, coefficient of variation<5%. Other droplets can be produced using microfluidic devices based on proposed invention.
