Laboratory of Scanning Electron Microscopy was established by Head of the Institute of Physical Chemistry,  Polish Academy of Sciences, on June 29th, 2016. Equipment installed at the Laboratory (FEI Nova NanoSEM 450 microscope) allows observation of materials’ surface by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with resolution up to few nanometers. The microscope is also equipped with EDS and WDS detectors providing basic chemical composition analysis of the examined materials.
