The Operations team of the International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER) together with the HR Manager of the Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS had the great pleasure of visiting and meeting colleagues at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and the European Research and Innovation Office at UCL. It was an incredibly professional and insightful workshop, to learn how the Finance, Human Resources, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion teams at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology operate and improve their standards. Our team was also introduced to the European Research and Innovation Office, which focuses on European collaboration in science and technology, providing a wide range of professional services to the UCL community.

UCL Institute of Ophthalmology is a strategic partner to the International Centre for Translational Eye Research under the International Research Agendas Programme, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science.

Our colleagues came back inspired to bring a new perspective on the processes implemented at ICTER (International Centre for Translational Eye Research) and the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences.

Big thank you to Nick Burt, Alison Hardcastle, Andrew Dick, Marinko Sarunic, Marcus Fruttiger (UCL Institute of Ophthalmology), Kimberly Cornfield and Martin Scott (European Research and Innovation Office).
