Offer no. 7/14

Colorimetric sensor for detection and/or identification of viruses and bacteriophages especially adenoviruses and T7 bacteriophages

  • Summary:

The subject of the invention is the colorimetric sensor for detection and/or identification of viruses and bacteriophages especially adenoviruses and T7 bacteriophages. The sensor is based on gold nanoparticles modiffied with the groups that allow for covalent binding of the anti virus/phage antibodies to the nanoparticles' surface, favourably amine groups. The invention also includes the method of detection and/or identification of viruses and bacteriophages with the use of described sensor, and it's application.
