Film of conductive polymer poly(3,3'-bithiophene), method of its preparation and its application for selective determination of creatinine and/or ascorbic acid

  • Summary:

    Invention describes method of fabrication of the polimer recognition layer containing 3,3'-bithiophene on the conducting electrodes by the use of electrochemical polymerization. Fabrication is performed from the solution containing 3,3'-bithiophene functional in mixture of polar organic solvents at controlled temperature in the range from 22 to 34oC. Moreover, the invention encompasses application of the fabricated recognition films as recognition element of the impedimetric chemosensor for selective determination of creatinine and/or ascorbic acid, especially in body fluids.
