Project description

Project title, type and project number

Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences is looking for a highly motivated researcher with an extensive experience in the supramolecular crystal engineering and structural studies using diffraction methods. The successful candidate will initiate and carry out research programs within the scope of the research profile of Team 22. In particular, the research topics will include: (i) design and preparation of the responsive molecular crystals based on hydrogen bonding; (ii) studies of the dynamic phenomena in the molecular crystals (crystal-to-crystal phase transitions); (iii) crystallization and co-crystallization in the multi-component systems. The research will serve to control crystallization, self-assembly, and triggering of phase transitions in the multi-component molecular crystals, as well as structure-properties correlation, towards fabrication of structurally and morphologically designed supramolecular crystalline solids. The successful candidate will cooperate with senior researches and supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
