Project description

Project title, type and project number

Elaboration of unconventional nanostructured perovskites and zinc oxide through compositional and morphological engineering for game-changing improvements in light harvesting devices, MAESTRO, 2019/34/A/ST5/00416, 52/2022

Project leader

Prof. dr hab. inż. Janusz Lewiński

Description

Main objectives of the project are directed to tackle challenges concerning either the perovskite absorber layer and the ZnO-based ETL. We plane to develop both mechanochemical processes for the preparation of highly advanced multicomponent MHP inks and controlled growth of MHP materials with various morphologies including single crystals, nanowires and unprecedented nanotubes/microtubes. In regard to ZnO-based ETL, new high-quality ZnO and metal-doped ZnO nanostructures will be elaborated using the one-pot self-supporting organometallic (OSSOM) procedure. Finally, the relationship between device performance and bulk physical properties of both MHPs and  ZnO materials will be systematically investigated.
