Description
We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences. The position is part of the consortium project entitled “Benchmarking Human Tissue Culture Systems that Mimic the Tumor Microenvironment”, financed by the NCN (National Science Centre). The consortium provides an international and interdisciplinary research environment with close links to tissue engineering, 3D cancer model systems, microfluidics, single-cell sequencing, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. The project involves transcriptomic profiling of Head & Neck Squamous Cell Carcinomas (HNSCC) using in-house state-of-the-art microfluidic high-throughput single-cell sequencing methods. The consortium will analyze primary tumor tissues and in vitro model systems such as patient-derived organoids (PDO) and patient-derived explants (PDE).
