Participation of the Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS in the I National Congress “Science for Business”

We had the honor to present the Institute’s commercial initiatives at the I National Congress “Science for Business”. The event provided an excellent opportunity to network not only with other scientific institutions but also with representatives of the business ecosystem.

During the congress, we showcased two innovative projects supported by the Science4Business program led by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science:

• Living Networks (thelivingnetworks.com) – the first high-throughput vascularized tissue model. The newly founded company offers high-precision preclinical drug development services based on proprietary in vitro human tissue models. Its VTµA platform delivers rapid multi-parametric phenotypic analysis.
• RamanOscope – a novel portable Raman spectrometer based on SERS technology. It enables fast qualitative analysis of various samples, including diagnostics of lung cancer tissues such as non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Additionally, we had the pleasure to present:

• The International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER) (icter.pl) – a dynamically developing Centre of Excellence.
• Cell-IN (cell-in.eu) – a commercial initiative introducing a novel polymeric reagent that enhances cellular uptake of molecules such as dyes, proteins, nanoparticles, and nucleic acids. Cell-IN offers a quick and simple alternative to traditional methods.

These presentations highlighted the Institute’s commitment to translating cutting-edge science into practical solutions for industry, strengthening collaboration between research and business.

Participation in the congress was funded by the partner project “Science4Business – Nauka dla Biznesu” under the European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021–2027 program, Action 2.5.
