L’Oréal-UNESCO “For Women in Science” scholarship awarded to IChF doctoral candidate MSc. Eng. Aneta Magiera

In November 2025, IChF PhD candidate Aneta Magiera (née Karpińska), MSc Eng., was awarded a scholarship in the doctoral category of the 25th edition of the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program.

The laureate is a member of Team No. 10 at IChF and a co-founder of the Cell-IN initiative, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Awarded dissertation topic: “Investigation of the Internalization of Chemical and Biological Molecules into Living Cells”.

Commenting on the award, MSc Eng. Aneta Magiera said:

"This award is a tremendous honor for me and a powerful motivation for my continued work — both in scientific research and in supporting young female scientists. The financial support received will enable me to proceed with my current investigations and opens up a broader path for their future development. I want to extend my special gratitude to the supervisors of my diploma theses — both Bachelor's and Master's — as well as to the supervisors of my doctoral dissertation: Professor Robert Hołyst and Dr. Karina Kwapiszewska. I wouldn't be in this position today without their dedication, support, mentoring, and the conversations we shared, both professional and personal."
