Call for Dream Chemistry Award 2026 nominations

Nominations are now open for the Dream Chemistry Award 2026, an international distinction recognizing visionary ideas in chemistry and chemistry-related disciplines.

Nominations may be submitted by scientists holding a PhD and having at least ten years of experience since the publication of their first scientific paper. The nomination period is open until June 30, 2026.

Researchers who obtained their PhD in 2019 or later and are nominated for the award will be invited to submit an application presenting their “dream project” in chemistry or a related field. Applications may be submitted until August 31, 2026.

Following an international evaluation process, the five most outstanding candidates will be selected and invited to present their projects during the Dream Chemistry Award Final, which will take place on December 7–8, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland.

During the final event, each of the five finalists will present their vision for an ambitious scientific project before an international jury.

The winner will receive the Dream Chemistry Award trophy and a cash prize of €10,000.
 The remaining finalists will receive the Dream Chemistry Top 5 Prize and €1,000 each.
