Report from Labotech 2026 Trade Fair

From May 5–7, 2026, the first edition of the Labotech laboratory equipment and technology trade fair took place at Ptak Warsaw Expo. The event aims to become a meeting point for specialists from the fields of science, medicine, and industry.

The exhibition showcased the latest solutions in analytical instrumentation, laboratory diagnostics, materials and reagents, as well as automation systems. An important part of the fair was also dedicated to technologies related to biotechnology, nanotechnology, and environmental monitoring.

Representing our Institute, Prof. Dr. hab. Eng. Juan Carlos Colmenares, Dr. Marta Paszkiewicz-Gawron, and Dr. Eng. Dariusz Łomot presented the “ReactoReQ” photoreactor, which attracted considerable interest among visitors. Industry representatives particularly appreciated the effort to standardize the conditions for conducting photocatalytic and photochemical processes using the photoreactor-based setup. The solution received very positive feedback.

The team is satisfied both with the number of visitors and with the valuable professional connections established during the event.
