- Name:
- Scanning electrochemical microscope (SECM)
- Producer:
- CH Instruments
- Model:
- 900B
- Research group:
- Team 6. Nanoelectrochemistry
- Description:
-
The CHi 900B makes it possible to conduct studies of processes occurring at interfaces with the electrolyte, to determine kinetic parameters, mass transport parameters and to map chemical activity. The instrument has a bipotentiostat which can be used to conduct typical electrochemical measurements. The microscope probe (microelectrode, micropipette) can be positioned in XYZ directions with a range of 25 mm at a resolution of 100 nm or with a 80 μm range at a resolution of 1.6 nm. The device is controlled by a PC with dedicated software.
