The DSR_λ is a microprocessor-controlled refractometer designed to measure refractive indices in liquid substances, regardless of their transparency, viscosity or colour. The instrument consists of a measuring head (pictured on the left) and a separate electronic controller (pictured right). The DSR_λ is equipped with a precision Peltier thermostat that can operate up to 353 K. The variable operating range is realized by 7 independent light sources (LEDs) in the visible range.
