Evaluation is a rating of the quality of scientific activity carried out by scientific entities. It takes into account the individual achievements of researchers representing a given discipline. Entities are assigned scientific categories: A+, A, B+, B or C. The rights to run doctoral schools and to award degrees and titles as well as the amount of funds that research units receive from the state budget depend on these categories. The Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences is subject to evaluation in the discipline of Chemical Sciences and currently holds the highest A+ category. Next evaluation will be carried out in 2026. It will cover the period from 2022 to 2025. All scientists (employees and PhD students) have to submit their achievements for evaluation.
A researcher needs to perform three actions to show his\her achievements in the Institute’s evaluation process:
1) Create an account (Author Profile) in PBN (Polish Scientific Bibliography) and connect it with POL-on system.
2) Have a public ORCID profile connected with PBN and keep it updated.
3) Submit declarations authorizing entity to demonstrate the achievements.
Declarations are submitted for each year separately.
Achievements taken into account in the evaluation are:
Please leave the completed declaration in the mail box in front of the Library or send a digital version (scan or electronically signed document) to Ms. Katarzyna Paczuska at kpaczuska@ichf.edu.pl
There are two versions of the declaration:
Declaration version 1 needs to be filled by researchers affiliated only in the Institute of Physical Chemistry.
Declaration version 2 concerns researchers affiliated in more than one entity (in this case, please list your scientific achievements authorized for demonstration
by the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences for the purpose of evaluation of scientific activity).
