Environmental Simulation Chambers - Application to Atmospheric Processes

Organisers: Bergische University Wuppertal (dr. Ian Barnes), Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS (dr. Krzysztof J. Rudziński), Environmental Institute EC JRC (dr. Jens Hjorth).
The main goals of the Workshops are:
· to review the use of environmental simulation chambers for environmental research, especially that concerning the atmospheric pollution problems,
· to present the environmental simulation chambers to scientists from countries that do not have such facilities,
· to introduce the European Programmes and Networks connected to photoreactors and atmospheric pollution research (EUROCHAMP, ACCENT, INTROP),
· to review the air pollution research in countries that accessed the European Union in 2004.

There is no conference fee, and it is possible to apply for the financial support for accommodation and travel, especially for young scientists. The participants can present their work on posters. The conference materials will be published by Kluwer, in a book form. The conference language is English.
