The Molecular Beams Laboratory is specialized in laser spectroscopy of isolated molecules and van der Waals clusters in supersonic molecular beams. This method allows to simplify substantially the vibronic spectra of molecules due to effective cooling of their internal degrees of freedom. Laser excitation in the collision-free region allows to study molecules in the isolated state. Such conditions make also possible the study of cold, isolated complexes of investigated molecule with different solvents.
